The real difference
Omnisend is a toolkit: workflows, forms, templates and reports, which you or your agency assemble into a marketing program. Amy is the marketer. She plans the month’s campaigns around your sales and holidays, writes every email and text from your catalog, tests subject lines and popups, and warms up your sending domain. Nothing goes out until you approve it. Each automation starts switched off. All 12 can send texts too, and texting stays off for each one until you turn it on. Campaigns always need your approval.
How the pricing differs
Omnisend prices by the number of contacts you store, counting subscribers and non-subscribers (Omnisend: plan charges). Amy prices by what you send: $10 a month including 2,000 emails and your sending number, then $0.90 per 1,000 emails and $0.009 per text segment. Contacts are never billed. Import your whole list and the base fee is still $10. We don’t quote Omnisend’s prices because we couldn’t capture its pricing page with a date, so check omnisend.com/pricing at your own contact count and compare it with Amy’s estimator.
When Omnisend is the better tool
If you need push notifications, a workflow builder you control step by step, your own custom segments, or a platform other than Shopify today, Omnisend does those and Amy doesn’t.
Switching from Omnisend to Amy
Amy imports your Shopify customers with the email marketing consent Shopify recorded, and only Shopify’s “subscribed” state becomes permission to market. Subscribers who only ever existed in Omnisend and never reached Shopify won’t come over that way, so email help@hireamy.ai before you switch and we’ll work through it with you.

Is Amy cheaper than Omnisend?
Amy bills for messages sent, not contacts: $10 a month including 2,000 emails, then $0.90 per 1,000, and contacts are never billed. Omnisend bills by contact count. Which costs less depends on how big your list is and how much of it you email, so check Omnisend’s current pricing at your own contact count.
Does Amy do push notifications?
No. Amy sends email and SMS. If you need push, Omnisend has it.
Does Amy have a workflow builder like Omnisend?
No. Amy gives you 12 finished automations, written from your store, and 14 ready-made audiences. You read each automation, edit it if you like, and turn it on.

How does Amy’s A/B testing work?
Amy tests three subject lines on every marketing automation, and four popup styles, then keeps whichever is clearly ahead. There’s nothing to set up.
